Young Middle School Coordinates Food Drive
Bayport-Blue Point students and staff collect items for Our Lady of Snow pantry.

James Wilson Young Middle School students and staff worked to warm up the holiday season for the less fortunate members of the community by coordinating a food drive.
The school collected more than 3,240 items of nonperishable food items and canned goods for the Our Lady of the Snow food pantry and a soup kitchen in Patchogue. The homerooms from each grade level battled to see who could collect the most donations, and the winning classes were awarded a bagel breakfast just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
