BuyBuy Baby's new owner announced it would reopen 11 stores, including one in the Hudson Valley.

SCARSDALE, NY — After buybuy Baby announced in July that it would close all its stores in the United States, including the one in Scarsdale, buybuy Baby’s new owner announced it would reopen 11 stores, including one in Scarsdale.
Dream on Me Industries, which was awarded the chain’s trademark and intellectual property, will reopen the stores at 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the buybuy Baby website.
The store in Scarsdale is located at 1019 Central Park Ave. Tickets are free, but you must sign up for them.

Pete Daleiden, CEO of buybuy Baby, said the best of everything baby is back.
“We are thrilled to welcome customers to our revamped stores for a first look at the latest and great curated assortment and an elevated shopping experience,” he said to Retail Info Systems news.

At Saturday’s event, customers can try out must-have baby gear and products, learn from baby and parenting experts, create a dream registry and meet other expectant parents.
There will be snacks and beverages and a chance to win strollers, car seats breast pumps, cribs and more.
