Memoir writing is a fun, often transformative experience. Whether you are writing for current family and future generations, or hoping for publication, you will learn from this workshop and be inspired to continue in this supportive space.
What You Will Learn:
It’s all about the craft of writing but it’s not your English class!
We don’t focus on grammar and spelling, rather, we focus on
storytelling itself; what do readers expect, how can we please them and
please ourselves at the same time? Are there ways to make our story more
interesting without stretching the truth? And much more…
This workshop is open to everyone, whether you’ve never written before, are currently writing, or have already begun capturing the stories of your life.
The instructor will have reading materials for class and we will be in touch prior to the class starting.
