Phyllis Hartstein, President of the Westchester Region of Hadassah, said “Hadassah is pleased to bring this series to our Westchester communities.  Hadassah, the largest women’s organization in the US, supports health and humanitarian goals, in Israel and the U.S.  In Israel we operate hospitals, Hadassah College, and youth villages.  In the U.S. we provide education and advocacy, in support of our causes and the Jewish community. By partnering with the library system, we are able to bring these films about strong women who provide wonderful role models for women of today, to a broader community.”

Terry Kirchner, Executive Director of the WLS, said “WLS is delighted to partner with Hadassah on this series.  The libraries are here to inform, educate and entertain our Westchester residents.  These films enhance our efforts to provide these services to an expanded group within our communities.”
