The Greenburgh Nature Center has a great train show run by Yonkers model Railroad club. The train show features a special 12 X 18 foot display of model trains traveling through countryside scenes built by Yonkers Model Railroad club. The display includes detailed features such as a mountain with a train tunnel, ravine, stream, model village, railroad crossings and more. A video is below. This is a fun event for children.
The event is only on weekends and this Saturday and Sunday is the last train show for the season. Time: 10 AM to 4 PM-- last admission is 3:30. $5 per member. #12 adult/child, children under 2 are free. $11 senior includes animal museum admission and train show.
