The SFD raised $14,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of New York with its third annual charity carnival.
The Scarsdale Fire Department hosted children and their families at the third annual SFD Ronald McDonald House Carnival on July 19 and raised $14,000 for the cause.
John Savarese, a 28-year veteran of the SFD, once again organized the event.
The carnival, in its third year, allowed sick children and their families to enjoy a day of games, fun and food. This year, the SFD invited members of the Wounded Warriors Program and their families to attend.
