Injured Hiker Rescued In Hartsdale
The injured woman was found on a trail in Hart's Brook Park Reserve.

HARTSDALE, NY — An injured hiker was rescued in Hartsdale Saturday.
The Hartsdale Fire Department said in a Facebook post that it received a call around 2:20 p.m. Saturday about an injured hiker in the area of the Hart’s Brook Park Reserve.
After an investigation, an injured woman was found on the Orange Trail about one-quarter mile into the woods.

She was assessed and treated, but it was found that she was not able to walk.
Fire department personnel said that moving her to the ambulance that was waiting on the main road was going to be “an arduous task.”

Additional resources were requested from neighboring agencies. Greenburgh Police Department arrived on the scene with a utility task vehicle that can navigate through narrow wooded trails.
Fire personnel put the woman onto the UTV, and she was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
