Martin "Marty" Tenenbaum, 69, of Hartsdale, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 2, 2023, surrounded by family.

Marty was born on Feb. 16, 1954, to Charles and Rita Tenenbaum in Bronx, NY. After graduating from Edgemont High School in 1972, where he was a star long-distance runner, he went on to become an aircraft mechanic through the Teterboro School of Aeronautics. Due to the 1970s energy crisis, aviation jobs were difficult to come by so he went on to work in the family real estate business for over four decades. He owned and operated an automobile service station for a few years and ultimately opened a gunsmith business over a decade ago, that becoming his passion.
