HARTSDALE, NY — A civic leader, who was killed in a tragic hit-and-run crash that left a community in mourning, will be honored in a fitting fashion.

Town of Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner invites the community to a memorial garage dedication ceremony on June 11, at 11:30 a.m.

The Hartsdale Public Parking District Board of Commissioners and staff will be remembering Stephanie Kavourias for her years of dedicated service to the parking district and to Hartsdale. There will be an unveiling of dedication plaques installed at the Site A parking garage, located at 234 E. Hartsdale Ave.

"Stephanie should be remembered for how she lived — not how she died," the supervisor said. "She worked tirelessly to make Hartsdale and the parking district better. And was passionate about the parking district, E Hartsdale Ave and town."
