• Community Divided on School Spending (scarsdale10583.com) — Scarsdale homeowners are weighing a proposed $98.5 million school bond that would raise average taxes by about $580 a year to fund major additions at Edgewood and Fox Meadow. Survey results show a closely split community, with just over half of resident respondents favoring the current level of spending or even more expansive projects. 
• Basketball Team Wins Second in a Row (scarsdale10583.com) — Scarsdale High’s boys basketball team crushed Ketcham 76–29 at SHS on January 10, sparked by 16 points from junior Ryan Sussberg and strong bench play. With key players back from injury and confidence rising, the Raiders have now won two straight and head into a tough stretch against Mount Vernon and a tournament in Springfield, Massachusetts.
