Police: Missing Gucci Handbag; Backpack Swiped

A collection of high-priced duds are missing from a Scarsdale home, a White Road resident told Scarsdale police last week.
The woman, 43, told cops Monday of last week that a handful of pricey garments and accessorises were swiped from her home.
A $700 Kate Spade Coat, $800 Gucci handbag, three Louis Vuitton bags worth $2,300 and other items were pilfered from inside the home, police said.

The Scarsdale woman told police she believes her housekeeper may be involved, and added that she plans to install cameras throughout the house.
No arrests have been made; police are treating the alleged thefts as grand larceny in the third degree, a felony.

A number of possessions—including a high schooler's backpack—were swiped from two unlocked cars parked in a Scarsdale resident's driveway, police said.
An Ardmore Road resident contacted cops Monday of last week after finding someone had entered her Volkswagen and Lexus overnight and pilfered her son's knapsack and spare change.
Her sunglasses were found in the driveway, possibly dropped by the thief, authorities said.
No arrests have been made; police are treating the incident as petty larceny.
