Registration For Scarsdale Kindergarten Scheduled To Begin

SCARSDALE, NY — Registration for kindergarten for the Scarsdale School District is set to begin Jan. 16.

Current residents who expect to have a child attend kindergarten during the 2024-25 school year are encouraged to complete the registration process between Jan. 16 and Jan. 31.

While prospective kindergarteners may be registered at any time prior to the start of the school year, completing the process early ensures a smooth screening and placement process.

Children whose 5th birthday falls on or before Dec. 31, 2024, may be registered for the 2024-25 school year.

Enrollment in one of the five elementary schools — Edgewood, Fox Meadow, Greenacres, Heathcote and Quaker Ridge — is determined by the neighborhood in which you reside.
