Scarsdale Police Log: Warrant Arrest And Fraudulent Checks

Warrant Arrest
Scarsdale Police arrested a Bronx man on a bench warrant for unlicensed operation on July 25. Charles S. Watkins, 31, was arrested and released on $100 cash bail, according to a SPD report. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 1.

A Scarsdale woman reported to SPD that $2,855.19 in checks were fraudulently issued and cashed from her husband's account. The Black Hawk Road resident said four fraudulent checks were created using their Citi bank account number, but had incorrect check and routing numbers, according to the SPD report. The checks were cashed in the Bronx and the NYPD is investigating the case.
