Another ID Theft In The Village
Another Scarsdale resident was the victim of identity theft. The Ross Road resident told on June 21 that an unauthorized person opened a Discover credit card in her name. Also, she told police that an unknown party opened a "Bill Me Later" account in her name, racking up $163.33 in charges at Toys R Us, according to the SPD report. She filed a report with the credit card company.

Not All Police News Is Bad News
A South Church Lane resident did a good deed on June 19, handing over a Louis Vitton wallet, containing $208.77 in cash, a debit card and gift cards inside, to the Scarsdale Police Department. The woman found the wallet on a bench on Chase Road.
