Scarsdale Police Log: Burglary On Rock Creek Lane

A Rock Creek Lane resident returned home on July 12 to find his house had been ransacked, his car stolen and jewelry and electronics swiped.
are investigating the burglary. According to a SPD report, the home's security alarm was not on at the time of the incident.
"The home appears to have been entered through an unlocked family room window located at the rear of the home. Suspect(s) apparently used a metal patio ottoman to climb through the window," the police report stated.

The burglar(s) made off with a 2001 Toyota Camry, a 50-inch flat screen TV, a MacBook Pro laptop, another Apple laptop and $10,500 in pearls, diamonds, and sapphire jewelry, according to the SPD report.
Scarsdale Police are investigating the incident.
