Scarsdale Police Log: Thief Swipes Cash, AC and Custom Suits

A Scarsdale man reported to the on July 5 that numerous items had been swiped from his home–including custom suits, two ACs and $28,300 in cash.
According to the SPD report, the resident discovered missing items over the past six to eight months.
Not only did the man have one air conditioner swiped, he had another stolen within the past ten days, according to the police report.

The alleged thief also stole $28,300 from his dresser drawer, custom suits and shirts from his closet, watches, his U.S. Navy documents and his Navy uniform.
All in all, the crook made off with $60,000 in cash and goods, according to the police report.
