Scarsdale Students Shine At Science Symposium
Scarsdale High had several students take part in the February event.

A number of Scarsdale Research students from Scarsdale High School attended and participated in the 12th annual Westchester-Rockland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. On Sunday, February 2, about 400 students from 22 area schools attended this event. Three of the SHS students participated in the twelve Speaker Sessions, and seven participated in one of the two Competitive Poster Sessions.
In the Speaker Sessions, Kathryn Evans placed 2nd in Biology and will move on as a speaker in the Upstate Junior and Science Humanities Symposium in March and Jamie Tanzer took third place in Medicine and Health and will move on as a Competitive Poster presenter in Albany.

In addition, Phillip Liu, Cindy Du, Sam Huang, and Claudia Laurie all took second place in the Competitive Poster Sessions.
