Scarsdale Teen Receives Threats Via Facebook: Police

'I'm coming for you,' a former village resident writes to a current resident, police said.

Scarsdale cops said a village teen received threatening messages through Facebook from a former acquaintance that read, "If I was you I would be scared. Cause I'm coming for you. You're going to regret you were ever born."

The resident, 17, told cops he received the messages last month after the sender found him on the social networking website. The teen also told police that he and the sender once attended Scarsdale Middle School together, and did not get along.

The local teen used to tease the alleged threat-maker—who not longer lives in Scarsdale—which may have lead to the exchange, according to police reports.

The teen said the person who sent him the message "was known to lash out at the individuals picking on him," police said.

Scarsdale authorities advised the local teen to block the acquaintance on Facebook to prevent future exchanges. Police are treating the case as a aggravated harassment in the second degree, a misdemeanor. No arrests have been made.
