Scarsdale Woman Turns in Late Husband's Guns

Police accept three firearms.

A 63-year-old Scarsdale woman whose husband recently passed away opted to give his firearms to local police for safekeeping, cops said.

The woman turned in a Smith and Wesson .38 Chief, a Titan .25 and a Beretta on Feb. 28. Police said the late husband had a valid Westchester County pistol permit.

The woman held on to two other guns to sell privately, cops said.
