Fresh, fragrant flowers are in full bloom in Scarsdale this time of year. Well, at least in full stock in the local floral shops–just in time for Valentine's Day.

The staff of Scarsdale Village Flower Shop at 7 Harwood Court has been gearing up for the big V-Day for the past two weeks. From the traditional romantic bouquet of red roses, to the wildflowers, plants and daisies, the shop smelled like springtime and blossomed with color.

Owner Germon Chino said the red rose is the most popular pick for Valentine's Day–as the red rose symbolizes love. Other popular rose choices include the pinks and yellow, he said.
