SCARSDALE, NY — Some lucky person in the Hudson Valley bought a top-prize winning ticket for the midday May 23 Take 5 drawing.
New York Lottery officials said the ticket, worth $18,346.50, was purchased at Three Stars Convenience Inc., located at 610 Central Park Ave. in Scarsdale.
The five winning numbers for the midday May 23 drawing were 8-12-18-27-38, according to the lottery website.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one to 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Winnings of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing, lottery officials said.
