Voter's Guide: Scarsdale School District Goes To Polls Tuesday
Voters in the Scarsdale school district will decide whether to approve the 2023-24 school budget Tuesday.
SCARSDALE, NY β Voters in the Scarsdale school district will go to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 school budget.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Scarsdale Middle School, 134 Mamaroneck Rd.
The spending package for 2023-24 is $177.8 million, up 2.59 percent from the current year. Enhancements in this budget include funding to extend social work support to our elementary students, support the second-year rollout of an exemplary math program, engage in a joint schools/Village athletic field study and conduct a comprehensive transportation study.

The tax levy increase is 1.93 percent.
There are two seats on the Board of Education that are up for election. This year incumbents Amber Yusuf and Robert Klein are running for three-year terms. For more information on the candidates, go here.
