Wanted: Greenburgh snow angel volunteers

students who volunteer will be honored at upcoming Greenburgh Town Board meeting- great for college applications!

WE NEED GREENBURGH SNOW ANGEL VOLUNTEERS!Is there a high school student in your household who could use some service hours? Are you an able-bodied adult with some time on your hands to help a neighbor in need? The Snow Angels is a long time service where we try to pair elderly or disabled residents in need in unincorporated neighborhoods with someone to help them shovel out of their sidewalk/driveway when we have a snow storm. If you would like to sign up, visit this link: bit.ly/snowangelvolunteers. We are looking for both coordinators and shovelers on the ground and are so appreciative of your consideration.
PAUL FEINER
Greenburgh Town Supervisor
PS: We are also compiling a list of individuals who will only shovel driveways for pay. The snow angel program is designed to help the frail elderly and disabled – those who can’t afford to pay for the volunteer efforts.
