ICYMI: Storm That Damaged Shopping Center Later Deemed 'Tornado'

In a headline that was — at the time — technically wrong...a EF-1 Tornado, which is a much weaker tornado, passed through Mastic, Shirley, and the Moriches on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. That was categorized on Sunday. Another one touched down in Remsenberg and Westhampton not long after but it was categorized as a EF-0 on Monday.
