A Riverhead man was arrested for breaking into and robbing Lowe's on Thanksgiving. Black Friday shopping was quiet this year. And tonight is the first night of the Smith Point light show.

1. Riverhead Police charged Terry Smith, 58, of Riverhead, with one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree for burglarizing Lowe's on Route 58 on Thanksgiving night. Police said Smith used a large piece of steel to smash two of the front doors. (RiverheadLOCAL)

3. News 12 has the news that the NHL has postponed all Islanders games until at least Nov. 30 because of continued COVID-19 cases on the team. Up to eight players are ineligible to play currently. (News 12)
