Person Fires Gun In Parking Lot Of Shirley Strip Mall: Police

No injuries were reported, nor were there any arrests, Suffolk police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — An unknown person fired a gun in the parking lot of a strip mall in Shirley on Friday night, Suffolk police said.

The shots rang out at the strip mall, which is on southbound William Floyd Parkway, at around 10 p.m., but no injuries were reported, according to police.

The strip mall contains a Pizza Hut, a convenience store, a bar, a butcher shop, barber, and a cell phone repair shop.
