- On Thursday, an EMT first responder testified in the case against ex-NYPD officer, Michael Valva. According to the paramedic Erin Lambert's testimony, Valva did not show any emotion when his son, Thomas Valva, was pronounced dead. (Patch)
- The Mastic Beach Conservancy is hosting a Bivalve Ball on Oct. 22 at the La Buena Vida Spanish Restaurant at 714 Montauk Highway. The event features local oysters, wine, dinner and dancing and more. More information can be found here. (All Events)
