- A wrong-way crash left one dead and another injured Tuesday night. According to the Suffolk police, Edward A. Thornlow, 54, of Shirley, was driving eastbound on Express Drive when he collided with another car at the south intersection on Horseblock Road. Thornlow was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
