1. Anthony's Pizza is now open at Aliayana's Pizzeria in Mastic Beach. The new spot is currently serving customers from noon until midnight. The menu includes salads, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, and, of course, pizza! Desserts are also available at 520 Mastic Rd, in Mastic Beach. (Patch)
2. The MMS Community Library features the "Tie Dye Party" at the Mastic Recreation Center on Friday at 5:45 p.m. Bring your T-shirts, hats, socks, or anything you want and have a blast in this fun crafts service. (MMSC Library)
3. A Fall Fair will be hosted just 4 miles away from Shirley/Mastic on Oct. 16. The Moriches Chamber of Commerce will hold the community event on Main Street with various local vendors and other fun fall happenings. Save the date! (Moriches CofC)
4. Nearby Events: Just a friendly reminder, the Hispanic Heritage Day celebration will be hosted at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. with free admission.
