1. The Home Church community invites kiddos to a drive-in movie night! Beforehand, children will decorate their cardboard cars to enjoy the movie "Chronicles of Narnia" at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10. Free popcorn, candy, and soda will be available at 298 Neighborhood Road in Mastic Beach. (Facebook Events)
   
2. Hooray to the William Floyd High School art students for their illustrations work for the book "Harley's Great Adventure," which has been published! The author is Edie May, and the book is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Walmart. (William Floyd School District)
3. Nearby Events: The village of Patchogue invites all to go down memory lane at the 39th Annual Old-Timers Game on Saturday, Sept. 3. The event will be held at Rider Avenue Park, featuring a fun old-fashioned softball game at 2 p.m. (Patchogue Village)
