  1. A swearing-in ceremony at the Maxine S. Postal Auditorium welcomed 55 new correction officers for Suffolk County. The recruits will now complete a three-month training before joining forces with Suffolk Police officers in December. (Long Island.com)
  2. The Board of Education honored Anthony Liberti, Anthony Alfano and Anthony Coraci of Century 21 for their support in the district's Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament.
