1. Summer is not over yet at Smith Point County Park. Suffolk Officials announced the extension of the season. Lifeguards will be on post until Sept. 18. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)
2. Drop in at the MMS Community Library on Tuesday, Sept. 6, between 4:30- 5:30 p.m. to participate in the "Crafternoon" at the Mastic Recreation Center. The event is part of the series "Get Crafty" and "Pamper Yourself," which happen weekly. (MMS Community Library)
