William Floyd High School senior Eddy Vu finished in second place in the 55-meter dash at the NYSPHSAA/NYS Federation Indoor Championships held at the Ocean Breeze Sports Complex in Staten Island last weekend! Eddy ran a 6.43 in the preliminaries and followed that up with an even more impressive 6.37 second 55-meter dash in the finals! Eddy only fell short to this year's state champion (6.28 seconds), which was the fastest time in state history. Great job, Eddy! Congratulations also go out to Coach Ed Noll, who said, "Eddy did an amazing job representing William Floyd and solidified himself as one of the greatest indoor sprinters in Suffolk County track and field history."
Eddy has attended William Floyd schools K-12 including John S. Hobart Elementary School, William Paca Middle School and William Floyd High School.
