2 Smithtown High Schools Make U.S. News 2024 'Best' Rankings
See how the two Smithtown School District buildings ranked among Long Island public high schools.
SMITHTOWN NY — Both Smithtown high schools were named among the best public high schools on Long Island, as well as the best in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report, which ranked the 2024 Best High Schools.
Smithtown High School West placed No. 25 on Long Island while Smithtown High School East was ranked No. 47 on the island.
West placed No. 120 in New York and No. 1,170 nationally, while East placed No. 193 in the state and No. 1,994 in the country. Both schools are part of the Smithtown Central School District.
