Duchess Cookies Opens At Smith Haven Mall In Lake Grove

LAKE GROVE, NY — Duchess Cookies has brought its overstuffed, oozing-with-sweetness confections to Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.

Sofia Demetriou is the creator and president of Duchess Cookies. She has been baking up "creative and decadent flavors since she could pick up a spatula," according to the Duchess Cookies website.

Demetriou's family has been in the bakery business for decades.

"Duchess Cookies is the end result of generations of baking experience," the website reads. "The creator of Duchess, Sofia Demetriou, has had a spatula in her hand almost since birth. Her family has been baking for decades, and she’s been finding ways to unlock new possibilities and carry the family torch in her own unique way since she was a child."

Cookie flavors include chocolate chip; Cookie Monster; s'mores; Funfetti; churro Nutella; Unicorn; triple chocolate; chocolate peanut butter; brookie; rainbow cookie; banana milk chocolate chip; cotton candy; sea salt caramel pretzel; and plenty more.

Duchess Cookies products are made without artificial flavoring and additives, are non-GMO, and include no fake sweeteners, according to its website.
