5 Local Events for Wednesday

There is a lot to do around the town Wednesday, and we're here to help sort out some of your possibilities for local activities.

1. – From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can get drinks at half price and enjoy some appetizers during happy hour. There are also $3 glasses of Pinot Grigio and Merlot, as well as $3 pints of Bluepoint Toasted Lager.

2. –  At 4 p.m., head over to Kings Park High School to watch West varsity girls tennis match up against Kings Park.

3. – Crosstown rivalry is in full effect as East girls soccer takes on West at 4:30 p.m. at high school West.

4. – At 11 a.m. there is a complimentary tea tasting at Whole Foods in Lake Grove, presented by Sacred Rose Organic Herbal Tea.

5. – A seminar is set to take place at 1393 Veterans Highway in Hauppauge at 7:30 a.m. on how to avoid six critical mistakes that could destroy your business. The seminar is free.
