Crime Report: Alleged Drunk Driver Crashes Into Light Pole

Kailee Washington, 28, from St. James was arrested on May 5 in West Sayville and charged driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. According to police, Washington was driving a 2003 Jeep Wrangler when she hit a light post on Second Avenue and Montauk Highway and was driving with a flat tire.
Joseph Trapasso, 34, of Ronkonkoma was arrested on April 29 in Smithtown and charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor. Police said Trapasso punched another man in the face. The person did not require medical treatment.
