Take the kids and family out for a fun filled afternoon while helping support the Suffolk County Firefighters burn center.
On June 9 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., St. James Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center will host its second annual Community Carnival. The day is stacked with events and food like face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, cotton candy, snow cones and more.
The proceeds from the day will benefit the Suffolk County Volunteer Firefighters Burn Center Fund. The fund, established in 1978, was created to help Stony Brooks Hospital's Burn Center. Today, it's mission is to provide support services to burn victims, both civillians and firefighters.Β
