A 'spin-a-thon' is being held in honor of Liam Armstrong, the 18-year old Smithtown East student whose life ended tragically when he was hit by a train trying to cross the tracks on a night out in New York City.
The fundraiser is being held at NexCycle in St. James in conjunction with the Smithtown Children's Foundation all this week. Cyclists or those just wanting to support the event can head down to the studio this week for the evening spin class.
