Man Nabs $1.3K In Sunglasses In Lake Grove: Police

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, stole items from a Lake Grove store in April.

A man stole three pairs of designer sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, located in the Smith Haven Mall, around 2:40 p.m. April 7, police said. The merchandise was valued at approximately $1,300, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
