Man Stole $6K In Glasses From Smith Haven Mall: Police

Police are looking to identify the man who stole $6,000 worth of glasses from a Lake Grove store in September.

According to authorities, the man stole two pairs of Cartier Wood Rimless glasses frames from Cohen’s Optical, located at 324 Smith Haven Mall, on Sept. 16 at 4:24 p.m.

Police described the man, who is wanted for grand larceny, as a thin white male with short, thinning hair. He was wearing black dress pants and a light-colored button-up shirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
