PHOTOS: The Sights of St. James Day
Hundreds of residents hit Lake Avenue on Sunday for food, music, and the various items available from local businesses.
Locals enjoyed kettle corn, hot dogs and funnel cakes while walking the crowd with neighbors, politicians and business owners Sunday for St. James Day.
Highlights include boxing and Zumba demonstrations from Energy Fitness, dancing from students of Chorus Line Dance Studio, sparring by students from American Jiu Jitsu, appearances from Democratic town council candidates Howard Knispel and Teresa Haft, town council incumbents Robert Creighton and Edward Wehrheim, Suffolk County Executive nominees Angie Carpenter and Steve Bellone, and more.
There was plenty of food available for the local foodie, as local restaurants and eateries such as St. James Pasta, Patio Pizza and more posted tents in front of their locations with a variety of food choices.
