Question of the Day: Thoughts on Nassau Coliseum Referendum Defeat

Nassau County voters rejected a referendum Monday for a new stadium to be built for the New York Islanders.

The New York Islanders took a off the ice Monday as to be put towards the construction of a new stadium was rejected by Nassau County voters.

As of 1:30 a.m., the Nassau County Board of Elections announced 56.95 percent of the voters decided against the stadium, while 43.05 percent voted in favor.
