The weather may have you fooled, but Memorial Day is next weekend and this local beer distributor says Shandy is the word.
Martin Stangarone, owner of St. James Beverage said shandy, beer mixed with citrus, is a popular favorite. Lemonade has been the citrus of choice for many popular brews such as Leinenkugel, Shock Top and Sam Adams.
"Definitely the shandy beers, craft beers too," said Stangarone.
And if you get down to St .James Beverage today, Stangarone said anyone buying a 12-pack of Shock Top today gets a Shock Top beer glass.
Better hurry, there wasn't too many left when we were there.
