Smithtown Police Blotter: 2 Grand Theft Arrests At Smith Haven Mall
ALSO: A man was arrested after he was accused of hitting a 74-year-old man, police say.
SMITHTOWN, NY β Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Smithtown area from June 10 through June 16.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- June 14: Sean Pratt, 55, of Smithtown, hit a 74-year-old man on Chester Street around 5:05 p.m. May 25, injuring the man, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault: injure victim 65 or older.
- June 14: Estela Juan-Cabrera, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, stole cosmetic products from Victoria's Secret & PINK by Victoria's Secret at Smith Haven Mall around 3:10 p.m. June 14, police said. Two children were with Juan-Cabrera at the time of theft, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 and two counts of act in manner injuring child under 17.
- June 12: Lucia Flores, 50, of Central Islip, stole items from Macy's in Smith Haven Mall around 2:15 p.m. May 11, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
