Smithtown Students Visit Citi Field, Home Of NY Mets
College sports management classes toured all five levels of the stadium, from underground tunnels to the press box and the field itself.

FLUSHING, NY β College Sports Management classes in the School of Business CTE Department at Smithtown High School East and Smithtown High School West recently took a behind-the-scenes tour of Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, the school district announced.
Students were guided through all five levels of the stadium, from the miles of underground tunnels, to the many ticketed club options, even from inside the press box and luxury suites, all the way down to stepping right on the field in front of the backstop.
They were able to experience what it is like responding to hard-hitting questions in the post-game press conference room and learned what it takes to run a professional Major League Baseball stadium.
