Woman Drives Onto Nesconset Lawn, Hits Parked Car, Drives Off: Police

NESCONSET, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the woman who, police said, drove away after a hit-and-run in Nesconset.

A woman drove a blue Hyundai four-door sedan across the lawn of a Pierson Street home and struck a 2022 Ford parked in the home’s driveway around 7:25 p.m. Sunday, police said. The driver approached the home’s security camera at the front door and apologized but did not leave her contact information or call the police, police said. The homeowner was not home at the time of the crash, police said.

A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
