9 East End Zip Codes Among Top 100 Priciest Nationwide In 2022: Report

EAST END, NY — Maybe it's the dazzling sunsets or to-die-for water views, but the East End racked up a whopping total of 9 zip codes in Property Shark's ranking of 100 most expensive zip codes in the nation list, released on Tuesday.

Topping that list of East End zip codes that sported the highest median home sales for 2022, was Sagaponack's 11962 at #2, with a median sale price of $5,750,000. Next was Water Mill's 11976 at #18, with a median price of $3,699,000. Amagansett's 11930 followed at #22 and a median price of $3,525,000, followed by Bridgehampton's 11932 at #25 with a median price of $3.3 million. Wainscott's 11975 was ranked #35 at a median of $2,813,000, followed by Quogue's 11959 at #36, with a median of $2,813,000. Montauk's 11954 was listed at #82, with a median price of $2 million, and Southampton's 11968 was ranked #88 at a median price of $1.9 million. Sag Harbor's 11963 came in at #91 with a median sale price of $1,865,000.

In Nassau, only Old Westbury — 11568 — made the list at #49, with a median home sale price tag of $2,508,000, according to Property Shark.

The report said it was the first time Long Island had a greater number zip codes in the Top 100 than New York City, largely due to demographic shifts during and after the pandemic.
