Southampton Student Athlete Shines, Signs Letter Of Intent With College

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton student athlete recently made his hometown proud.

Southampton High School senior Nate Barbour recently signed a letter of intent to continue his athletic pursuits in college. He has committed to playing lacrosse at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, where he will study business, the district said.

Barbour has been playing lacrosse since kindergarten and has earned two All-Division titles at the varsity level. He is also a basketball player and a member of the National Honor Society, the district said.

"The Southampton School District congratulates Barbour on his dedication to his sport," the district said.
