Bridgehampton School District's Val, Sal For 2024 Chosen

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — The Bridgehampton Union Free School District announced recently that, "after 13 years of hard work, dedication and scholarship," Kimberly Villa and Justin Urgiles will serve as the 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.

Valedictorian Kimberly Villa is interested in studying law in college. She is the varsity cheerleading captain, head of the childcare program at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork in Bridgehampton, and president of the Dream Team community organization that sponsors teen programs. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.

Salutatorian Justin Urgiles is interested in studying computer science in college. He is a member of the Vex robotics club, plays on two different travel soccer teams with Elite Soccer Long Island, and is currently taking a program where he will receive a certificate for completion of Intro to Computer Science in Python.

"These students are committed to success in academics throughout their educational career," the district said.
